What you need to do is get a 10gallon tank for now and place half land and half water. Place the tadpoles in the same 10gallon tank with the little frog. Feed them fruit flies, then move to different insects when it grows bigger. They love different choices. Tadpoles should be fed fish flakes...thats what I fed mine.(Just so you know) Tell your son Good Luck!

Yes,they eat tiny, tiny insects. It really would be best if you would take them to a wildlife area, with a water source and plants, instead of keeping them,or at least Google them to find out what kind they are, what exactly they like to eat and what kind of habitat they need.

Let them go and they will find food on their own. You didn't say where on this planet you live, so nobody will be able to give you exact advice. Having said that, you probably have tree frogs, and they eat small insects.

Ok, go to your local pet store. Get the smallest size meal worms that they have there. Feed each frog three meal worms. Use tweezers to feed the mealworms to the frogs!

probably small insects, and you could get commercial food for them...

but please release them into the wild unless you saw them in serious danger. they can take better care of themselves than any human could.
