We would be into the next ice age by now.
All cars would run on oxygen.
911 would never have happened because Super Al would have flown into action. Grabbing those planes an instant before they hit the towers and setting them gently on the ground.

He then would have flown to afghanastan and used his xray vision to find Osama Bin Laden(who was living in a cave with Bush 1 &2 as well as Nixon and Hitler plotting the world's destruction)
He would have converted bin laden as well as all radical muslims to his religion of global warmingism.
Then he would have done away with all borders and cultures around the world
and everyone would live happily ever after.

Well at least that's what liberals think would have happened.

Well, strictly speaking,he did "win", as he got more votes--but that's the electoral college (with a little help from the supreme court) for you.

Anyway, how would we be different?

1. Our military would have remained focused in Afghanistan, and Osama Bin Laden would be in custody/dead by now.

2. There would be no US-led war in Iraq, and Saddam Hussein would still be in power.

3. There would have been no "backlash" and the Republicans would still control at least one half of congress.

4. The supreme court would have moved to the left, instead of to the right.

5. The federal deficit would be smaller than ever in our recent history, instead of larger than ever in all of our history.

6. The EPA would have increased powers.

7. Foreign relations would generally be better--very few angry protests when the President visited another country.

8. Comedy Central would have made millions selling Al Gore wind-up dolls, complete with key in the back and monotone robotic voice.

9. The division between rich and poor would still be getting bigger--but at a slower rate.

10. Education reform would actually focus on education--not money.

etc . . .

etc. . . .

LOL. I remember that crazy election. I'm from the Midwest. Many of the people I talked to thought that since he was for gun control and abortion he was the antichrist or something. Some even thought he wanted to create a fascist state. Oh, irony in that...

It's impossible to know what it would be like now if he would have taken office in 2001. It would probably be a much nicer world but then the Republican Party wouldn't be nearly as damaged as it is today. The Bush Administration has really put them through the political ringer. Their best bet would be to impeach their own candidate.

We would not be in Iraq. We Would have a much more efficient government. We would have taken innitiative to solve our climate crisis. We would have led the world in a friendly was as the US is known to have done. He would have followed a strategy to fight terrorism that would not involve invading ?Iraq? But rather focus on Afgahnistan or where ever else Al-Quida is know to be. This world would be beautiful if that man actually became president after winning the ellection. The people spoke that day, Al Gore had the majority of the votes.

I can not know how things would be different.. but I do not think we would be in Iraq. We may still be fighting in Afghanistan.. but Gore had no reason to go after Saddam like Bush did.

It would've been a different world but not necessarily for the better. On the other hand I don't think much either of the present presidential candidates, Democtrats or Republicans.

All usage of ANY type of energy source (petroleum products, coal, solar, water, human, lightning, telekinesis, etc.) would be forbidden. All human life in the world would be commanded to live in caves or holes in the ground, but only if there was no other form of life living there, or that might live there at any time in the past or future. Hourly prayer to the one god, ALGORE, would be required.

And, the earth's climate would still be warming as part of its natural cycle.

Well we wouldn't be in Iraq, socialized health care, higher taxes and global warming would be in the spotlight. He would probably want to have socialized many things. We would look quite a bit like France.
