Medela is a good one. Check with your hospital though. I rented a great one from the hospital for $50 a month because I couldn't breast feed very long so in the long run it was cheaper to use that one which worked probably better than a store bought one. Do what works best for you. It's something to look into though.

in case you're saying your nipples are lots harder, why do not you attempt breastfeeding back? possibly grant him the breast the 1st feeding of the morning, whilst he's the main hungry and much less probable to refuse. additionally, i'd somewhat pass see a lactation representative, they are properly worth their weight in gold. I, too, had a terrible time feeding my daughter the 1st 2 weeks. i presumed she had a stable latch.... seems she did not, she wasn't latching suitable around the backside and that i became attempting to grant her too lots nipple on the suitable. It made a extensive distinction! in case you do plan on pumping on an usually going on basis, the only thank you to pass is double electric pump. the web pages and bins the pumps are available easily say it too. i for my section very own a Medela Pump in variety. i like it, i will get approximately 4-5 oz..in 10-12 minutes. I did lots of examine in the past determining to purchase this. this could be a costly pump, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it had the final comments. verify alongside with your coverage company ASAP as a lot of them easily cover breast pumps(maximum individuals do not recognize it and on no account funds in on it!). you will get lots of solutions on which pump is the final. Do your very own examine in the past determining to purchase nevertheless. seem on the person comments in the past determining to purchase, they are SO informative. stable success, the 1st few weeks are somewhat the toughest. it form of feels truly person-friendly to stop and pass to a bottle, yet then you certainly will continuously have this little voice interior the back of your head asserting what if I in basic terms tried for an added day....

The Medela double breast pump is awesome! I used it while my son was in NICU and I wasn't allowed to nurse him. It kept my supply up until I was allowed to nurse him. They are really expensive, but check with your insurance to see if they'll pay for pump rental. Mine pays 100% after a $10 co-pay.

I worked as an L&D nurse and in post partum and our hospital leased the Medela electric double pump. Almost every mom that used it loved it. It was powerful, didn't need batteries, you just plug it in and go. It didn't seem to cause alot of pain or soreness either. I used one for awhile after I had my first baby and liked it alot.

I personally like the Avent Isis Manual Pump. Its not to expensive and was comfortable to use. I'm sure there are better ones out there but thats what I prefered. I guess it depends if your looking for a single one or double to do one or both breats at the same time, and if your looking for a manual or electric. It will also depend on your price range. Good luck!
