I'm trying to figure out what's cheaper. I use 5.00 off coupons on the 25.7oz can and it lasts a week. Today I bought a quart and did an "experiment" the quart made 6 bottles which lasts a day and I got the quart for.47 cent because using the coupon. So in the long run what would be cheaper?

Powder would be cheaper, plus it is ready to mix when you are in the store or just out and about. No need to keep it cooled.

Eventually they do stop sending you the coupons...sad. However the powder is cheaper and more convienet with outings as well. All you have to do is prefill bottles with water and get a powder canister (holds three bottle amounts of formula) dump and shake. Where as the premade once opened has to be cooled. Just my .02 you can do as you please...we use the powder (the large cans not those tiny ones) and it lasts about 2 weeks with my 4 month old who is also eating solids now.

The only thing about the ready to feeds and her only drinking 4-6 oz per feeding is that it has to be used in a certain amount of time ; whereas the powder, it doesn't matter how much or how little she is eating. I personally prefer the powder, it is easier to deal with and to do while you are out and about. Best of luck !

I've always found powder to be cheaper, I breastfed my children til they were 6, 8 and 10 months old so I didn't use alot of formula. When I did I used liquid consentrate as it seemed to be easier on their tummies.

Powder formula is much cheaper, and as someone suggested, you could always use store-brand formula. It's just as good (I checked with several doctors and read many articles on the subject), and almost half the price of others.

Powder is less expensive. But my baby got so much colic with powder that I had to use the ready to feed liquid.
