Because I don't always agree with the people on this list. I was banned. I feel like I live in a Communist country where you cannot say what you feel. The name of the group is The Shep Report. Please advise.

From what I was told, all it takes is someone reporting you / and or your posting as abuse... they don't have enough people to check them all out, so they bounce your posting.

But that as I said, was what I was told, do not know from experience or from Yahoo!

'Fowl' language means that you're cacklin' like a chicken...I can understand why people might find that a bit over the top. Cackling, crowing, and quacking simply isn't acceptable....your mom probably told you that...maybe you forgot. 'Foul' language is a different thing.....it's simply not socially smooth to use certain words in public...particularly when there are ladies present. I'll bet you mom told you that as well. So, take the hint...no 'fowl' language, no 'foul' language....simply isn't done, old boy!

You join a group with an understanding that you will observe the beliefs and principles of the group. You pay your dues and you observe the rules and regulations, and charter and bylaws if any.
If you speak against any of these. you can be expelled.
What do you expect: join and then bad mouth? Unless you belong to a bird watching group, I think you can use all the "fowl" language you want.
Join a group that shares your beliefs. If you want to argue all the time, get married.

I hope you mean foul language, fowl language would mean you were clucking like a chicken, which no one here would tolerate. Maybe someday they will start an all poultry question board, but until then human languages are probably best.

All of these rooms you don't have free speech. You are limited by their rules. When talking of free speech, they mean that the GOVERNMENT can't interfere with free speech! They are not talking about anyone else!

SO, now you know free speech is not absolute and is not guaranteed to those who are involved with entities that are not the US government, or represent the US government!

I can think of plenty of things that I can say, without using foUl language, that are just as bad or worse.
Besides, do you want little kids reading hateful lauguage, even if it contains no cuss words?

First Amendment protects you from the government, not from thin-skinned moderators.

i have had a few comments taken off answers and they were not profane, but because my opinion offended someone they were arbitrarily removed. Freedom of speech when controlled by liberals is not freedom of speech. Yahoo certainly leans a wee bit to the left. Ever read yahoo news?
