For the first six years in office, he had a Republican controlled Congress. Between that and the 9/11 attack he had a rubber stamp for almost anything he wanted to do. Now that his domestic and foreign policy have both been exposed for the total failures that they are, which is partly why the Republicans lost both houses in the last election (Iraq being the biggest reason), he doesn't know what to do. His administration has always been corrupt and built on lies; now that we have a Democrat controlled Congress, it's all coming to light. Even republicans in Congress are jumping off the bandwagon. They know they won't get reelected if they are seen in alliance with him. Just ask Rick Santorum.Yet the corruption continues because his only idea is to "Stay the Course", which can be applied to all his ideas, if you want to call them that. So it's not that he doesn't want a Congress, he just doesn't want people who think different from him. Or just people who actually think.

I dislike Bush, but I think you're taking this the wrong way. It makes sense for him to dislike the actions of Congress, because they are currently against the Bush Administrations best interests(not necessarily the countries). People dislike people who oppose them in general.
What it does seem is that Bush has violated the constitution in an attempt to prevent congress from acting against him.

Bush wants Bush to be the Congress and the Senate. He is out of control and his administration is dangerous to our civil liberties. Do a little research and prepare to be shocked.
Here is an enlightening video:

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. He is already corrupted. Such arrogance has not been seen since Richard Nixon authorized Watergate breakins. The man Bush has no regard for anyone's agenda except his own. Gil Scott Heron sang a song about Ronald Regan--words to the effect of "The Cowboy who's making the world a nervous wreck". Well, George Bush has made this country a nervous wreck. Fortunately, my faith is in God who will deliver us from these dangerous lunatics.

Tough. Many Presidents have felt that way. Many Congress and Senate members have probably felt the same about the Presidents.
Tough.
That means they are doing their job.
Same with Democrats and Republicans. Different goals, brakes to the other. I respect that. If they put our country first, they can disagree with me all they want.
I'll still see the patriot in them.

what it "seems" like is that bush will not allow the pelosi/reid regime to dismantle the office of president. bush stated correctly so that congress doesnt run the war, the commander in cheif does and given 757gate and the territorial vote grant it seems obvious that a choice of pelosi and the product of overfed cattle would have alot in common anyway if you catch my point.

I admit it, I voted for him twice. It was kind of cool at first to have a laman president, now it has lost its luster. He is getting real goofy real quick.
