What do you do to unwind at the end of the day?

what brings you peace?

Hmmm? My end of day usually ends with sleeping. I'm usually at the office late. When I get home the kids attack for playtime. Then we eat which is always an adventure. Then more playtime, baths, and bedtime. There really is no downtime until it's time for me to sleep.

I think I should add that the few minutes before I sleep is my downtime. I might watch the news or talk with my wife. Then there is my prayer time. I guess that would be it.

I think of whatever good happened during the day...

Or, how much worse it coulda been if it wasn't great...

Like, what if I had to do all these things with a handicap?

I try to do something nice, even just small stuff like giving an old lady the grocery cart I wrestled outta the pile at the store & havin her say, "thank-you, dawlin'..."

I once said something stupid like, "good evenin' . . .
How're you this gloomy day?" to an old person and she stopped and said, "Why, you're so sweet...you made me smile for the first time in a long while. . . "

i take a couple of valiums and a hot shower to help me unwind.

First , a nice long walk with my dog; then a hot shower; then cuddle with my wife.
