I am a dispatcher and work with seven other women! the pettiness is unreal!~~i don't like her; blah, blah, blah.
We recently hired a MALE dispatcher and he is so cool and so mellow. The boss said, "She only wants to hire more males in the future?" I know that this is stereotyping and NOT ALL women are like this; but, why are "some" so difficult to get along with each other?

We ARE the talkers, more so, and if we are shallow, with no life, we'd probably gossip, be petty, etc. That is what I have found to be the truth, and, YES, I hate it!

Women are very catty. and form cliques where they gossip
about a few they don't like and spread lies, slander and more
gossip. How sad when the most exciting thing for them to do
is be a sh*t to someone just to gain favor with each other.
They lie so much that sooner or later they believe their own
lies. There are a few men like that also but mostly women.
You won't run across these type of practices too much outside
of work. It depends what type of supervisors and bosses you have. If they contribute or start some of this themselves then
they are the type to promote lousy practices in the workforce.

Maybe because they have to go home to a grouchy man, a dirty house, and hungry kids who have homework?
Then get up and do it all again tomorrow?
Until they drop dead at the stove...
OR....maybe that guy's so happy because he knows he will forever and ever make more money for the same exact work than any woman in the office?
Google the stats for this 'cuz I'm not sure...
But I think it's something like women earn 40 cents less on every dollar than men regardless of the job.

I have no idea. Thankfully, most Planners and LA's are male. There are not alot of women in our profession, so its a dudefest around here. The only females we have are professional assistant, and 2 accountants. Thankfully there is no drama there and they are only here for a few hours a day.

Jealousy. Women are always trying to be the one on top, because women are not usually the head of the household, so they try to dominate at work.
I know how you feel, I work with a woman around my same age but she is a complete *****.

I have found it very hard to work with some of the women at my past job. I now work in an enviroment where I am the only female. MUCH easier!!

I know what you mean...women can be so catty! It is really sad that some women do this! I have worked at jobs like this and that is why I prefer to work with men...not so much melodrama!

I've noticed this as well, if you get too many women together, like hens, they'll peck each other eyes out. That's why most of my friends are guys.
