Rock On...originally done by David Essex recently covered by Def Leppard on their Yeah album. I think Michael Damian from Young and Restless also covered this song in the 80's

The name of the song is "Rock On" and several artists have done it. The one the classic rock stations play is the version by David Essex. It came out in the early 70's, I think.

The song is "Rock On." I don't remember who sung it first but Micheal Damian (Danny on "Young and the Restless") sung it in the late 80s.
