I am having a real hard time sitting up strait. If I do the baby starts really kicking back. I am almost 36 weeks. Is this a sign that the baby is getting ready for labor?

it is not that my back is hurting. I am really having a hard time having my pelvis under me.

The baby may have fallen further in your pelvis making it harder to bend to sit up. Be patient though b/c you could still have a while to go.
good luck

No, when getting ready for labor, the baby starts to drop into your pelvic area, and tends to push against your stomach, not your back.

Sounds like you just better get ready to have a really active child.

Good luck.

I think that may be a sign that this baby is ready to come out. The home is getting to snug for him in there, and he may be uncomfortable when you sit up straight. Have you asked your doctor about it?

I think its just the baby getting bigger. I felt that way when I first was told that my baby was in head down position. since their little feet are curled up top by your ribcage. you can really feel the pressure. However, you are close to full term(37 weeks) thats how far along i was when I had my first...so, be prepared anything can happen!

This is just a sign that you are 9 months pregnant and uncomfortable! Relax your baby is just feeling cramped and his moving around is just more noticable because of the tighter space.

It's hard to do anything when you're in labor. The baby may just be in an awkward position. Welcome to the hardest part of pregnancy, IMO. Where you are never comfortable.
