your point about the elections is a salient one..

the comparison to Nixon is not..war policy and corruption
are two different things and actually..the insinuation
is nothing but condescending

Nixon had just won re-election and was looking at ..it was August of 1974 Nixon had 2 full years left..when circumstances forced his resignation..

Nixon's own corruption forced his hand..in order to get a
pardon..he had to manipulate things one last time and leave on his own accord..

I think they will lose re-election if they wave the white flag like all the other spineless senators. If we actually tried to win, then we would. Integrity is doing the right thing even when it is unpopular. It is pretty sad the republicans would worry more about re-election than winning the war.

it particularly is totally stressful to declare. the rationalization being is that interior the Seventies there grow to be no Nixon possessing "The Internets". If united statesa. grow to be given the internet interior the 70s, i'm confident there may be equivalent flaws got here upon between Nixon & Bush. Bush & Cheney's corruption is hard, because of the fact it is so out interior the open. If we see what they do in public view, think of what they have happening in deepest.

It is extremely sad to see ANYONE placing people's lives at risk simply due to their party affiliation or political career.

People are actually dying by the thousands and all these politicians are concerned about is what will get them reelected. Yet party supporters are still spewing nonsense in defense of their party's politicians.

What is wrong with people today?

I hope so. If they wish to keep their seats in the upcoming election and still have some respect left for themselves.

The reason they r jumping ship...is cause Bush is catering to the Dem's.....the only thing he won't budge on is Iraq.....i wish he would show that kind of commitment for other issues!

The only rats jumping ship are up for re-election in 2008. Politicians at their best... NOT.

Bush pouts and says
well at least I'll always have
my Jeffy Boy Gannon...
I don't care if I'm popular or even
a good President...all I care about
is what Jeffy is wearing tonite...
And thats the TRUTH!
