I'd like to burn a CD of all my favorite songs to play in my car.

Question Details: I have a cd burner but I'm just confused about how it all works. What are some good recommendations for (legal / no-spy) sites that have a good selection and aren't too expensive per download? Once they are downloaded onto my computer, can I just save them on a CD? It seems like this is what I did last time but it wouldn't play in my car , only on the home stereo. Help! Can you offer any suggestions about what websites to use and how to do this? I don't have an IPod, so I'd like to burn the CD straight from my computer onto a CD, if that's possible?

Almost any site sells songs nowadays. Itunes has one of the biggest selections I know. Once the songs are on the computer the easiest way to burn them are to right mouse click on the ones you want on the cd, send to D:/ or E:/ depending on what drive your burner is. Once you done that go to the burner drive in My Computer and double click on it. On the right it should say " Write files to Cd" and put in your CD-R or CD-RW and burn them as an Audio CD if you want them to play in any music CD player. Even if you burn it correctly, if your car CD player doesnt read burnt cd's than it wont work, but more than likely it will so youll be fine.

You normaly have to purchase the right to those songs before you can play them on just about any cd player. They charge you about $0.99 per song.
