I open up the game and it goes through the "EA games" and the "Maxis" pages, then as it starts loading everything it will get to "Partitioning Social Network" and then freeze. Then it will say "Application has crashed. Application will now terminate". Then it closes. It won't stop doing this, I restarted my computer twice and I uninstalled the game but it still doesn't work.

My game is doing that too and I had just installed custom content, so make sure that any custom content folders are clean of viruses and such, I guess I need to take my own advice and get to virus scanning, lol :P

Try installing the software in safemode. Just restart and hold down your F5 or F6 key and you will be givin the option to go into safe mode.
