Young people have been looking for themselves since time immemorial. They abandon the look and culture of their parents and adopt the new group think of their peers. Notoriety/Fame has nothing to do with talent and the more mediocre the rich and famous the less chance talent has to succeed.

what a person chooses to listen to should have nothing to do with their racial background..

if thats the fact.. i should like rap...
but i don't.. i hate it passionately, yet i respect the fact that people listen to what they want to listen to...

so if you're white, and you like rap and hip hop.. more power to you..

and if you're black and you like metal and rock.. kick ***!

do you really have that much of a problem with it?

HOLD UP!!!

WAIT A MINUTE!!!

Let me put some pimpin in it... lol

First off, YOU PERSONALLY OFFENDED ME WITH THIS QUESTION.

Rock is my LIFE. But rap means alot to me too.

I unlike 99% of the people on this earth am in love with rock AND rap.

And I bet you know I twice as much about either as you.

I am an 18 y/o whiteboy and I happen to live in the hood lol. I live in Columbus, yeah?

Well for as long as I can remember I have loved music. I grew up on rap and rock.

I don't understand how you directly relate liking rap to not being able to indentify yourself... that's stupid.

RAP IS TO SOME PEOPLE WHAT ROCK IS TO OTHERS.

So stop hatin and frontin on **** you dunno about.

I just ownt this question.
