I'm 7 weeks pregnant and have had morning sickness for a week now. At first I was vomiting, now I'm just a little nautious. Does it disappear that fast or is something wrong?

most women it goes away about 12 weeks in..although...and not to upset you some have it the whole pregnancy...
if so ask your doc. about an anti nausea med like zofran

Totally depends- I was throwing up the entire nine months (although in the last trimester I only threw up 4 times a week)

My sister on the other had as 4 children and she hardly threw up and got very little nausea with any of them.

There is just no way to know how a person will respond. Good Luck!

Congratulations on the pregnancy,

May the whole process bring you joy, and good health.

Yes, for some it does, but for others it may be a reason for concern. Though the fact that you still feel nauseous is good.
On average it lasts 3 months, +/-. I wasn't really sick during my three pregnancies, at least not as sick as one of my friends. I would after awhile get up and go burp in the bathroom and feel better. LOL

Where as my friend, her little 2 year old thought that toilets where for throwing up in. lol

fox,

ps- new research links having morning sickness with less likely-hood of developing breast cancer.

Sometimes morning sickness can last a day or two , somethimes through the whole pregnancy . My father had my mothers morning sickness when she was pregnant with me , which is odd, but can happen

To help with morning sickness try a couple of crackers and avoid strong smells

It depends on individuals. It may go or reduce after 3 months, I'm afraid some expectant mothers experience morning sickness all through the pregnancy period. (may be worst with girls and less with boys). It is just normal & remember that is what it takes to be called a mother.

I was nauseous for the whole 9 months and I have heard of women who throw up for 9 months. You will have to wait and find out how your body is going to accept being pregnant. Since you were throwing up and are now nauseous, maybe eventually it will go away all together. Good Luck

I'm going through the same thing. I'm 7 weeks too. Today I actually took someone's advice on this board and started drinking ginger ale. It worked so fast!
