I guarantee if you voted at all you voted for somebody corrupt. Doesnt seem to be any other kind of politician these days and there won't be until the people band together and impose their will on the elected officials instead of the other way around!!

Because smart and uncorruptable people make tons more money in the private sector and don't want the headachs that come with public office. Not to mention they would take a pay cut to work in public office.
For the most part smart sucessful people will not run for public office because they make more money in the private sector without the headachs that come from public office.

Most of it is young voters, who have gone to schools, whos teachers are Liberal whack jobs, and with an "education" by Liberal minded sophistry, It's no wonder we get the wrong people put into office!!
The likes of Hillary, Sheehan, Pelosi, Reid, Boxer, Murtha, Kennedy, and all the rest of the Left-wing, are EVIL intentioned people, with a self serving agenda, Evil agenda at that!!!!!

No one is psychic, dear.
The actual number of crimes committed by politicians compared with the number of crimes committed by the general public, statistically speaking, leaves the politicians coming out looking like saints.
Those who hate our government want to make you think they all are. Can you imagine a belief more insane? ALL?
Tens of thousands of them?
What nonsense.
Corrupt politicians are rare because of our system. They can't stay in power very long. We vote them out. Keeps them honest.

Because the voting public is for the most part stuuuupiiiiddd! They vote NAME RECOGNITION only. I come from a small town, and it's insane here. Once elected into office--you're pretty much in for life (locally) because (and I have overheard this at the booth).........."who is XXX?" I don't know, but just vote for "XYZ" I've heard of him/her.............ugh! Makes me want to b-slap them and revoke their voting privleges!
