The Breakdown, The Point - Is to stay in the house the longest... be the last houseguest. Each week one player (guest) gets voted out by the other housequests. The main job of the HOH is to nominate the two people that will be voted on by the others for eviction. Its that simple enough.

Carol just got unlucky... she didn't have a convincing enough reason why she should be the one to stay. Its all about getting people to WANT YOU to still be in the house!

I used to love BB, but then I got tired of it. It's still an pretty good show though.

Basically, it's like Survivor. You have a group of people that are locked into a house, they can't leave, and are 100% segregated from the outside world, no tv, no radio, no phones.

They spend the weeks competing in competitions for anything from food to who will be safe from elimination for that week.

The HOH is the winning of the HOH competition, and is therefore safe from being eliminated. Being HOH basically get's the person their own private room for the week, plus they don't have to participate in some of the competitions, instead, they are more or less like the "coach" where they give the directions and keep track of the time and such.

The HOH also get's to pick two people who they would like eliminated. The rest of the house votes.

When it comes time to eliminating someone in the household, it really depends on what's happened during the week. Is the person lazy? Annoying? Did she do something to make them lose a cometition? Is she combative against the rest of the household? Like I said, it's basically like Survivor. They pretty much vote people out of the house the same way they are voted off of Survivor.

Breakdown orf the show:

A group of people agree to live in a house 24/7 and annoy each other and compete with one another to be the last one standing in the house and win 500,000 dollars

What is the point?

They get the money and television pay of about 9,000 dollars for three months work. Plus they get to be on television.

How does the game go?
They stay in the house and one of them gets picked head of house hold by winning a competition. That person nominates two people to be eliminated. The two people and the HOH face off for a power of veto competition to see if anyone wants to veto those nominations. Three other people will play in that competition. The winner can veto a nomination and force the HOH to pick another Housemate to be put up for eviction. People other than the POV can be put up on the block. The two that stay up for nomination can be voted out by the rest of the house. In the case of a tie the HOH gets the deciding vote, otherwise, the HOH gets no vote. Immediately after, the houseguest is kicked off the new HOH competition happens and the old HOH is not allowed to compete. After every HOH there is a food challenge that decides what food people will get to eat that week. They used to put people on Peanut butter and Jelly for a week now they use slop a cream of wheat/oatmeal concoction. There are also some luxury challeges from time to time to make things interesting. THis season Eric is America's contestant and people vote on tasks for him to do. For every five deeds he does he gets 10,000 dollars. He is three deeds down already. Also this year, they have a three hour show each night on Showtime Too.

The reason they voted Carol off was because shortly after entering the house she told people that she ony planned to be there a month and the show lasts three months.

Then she started to lie to people about how many votes she had for herself and Eric being told by the viewers to vote her off busted her on the lies and everyone voted her down for lying. Plus , even though she was cute, she was not a flirt and seemed distant from many of the guests.

Tomorrow is Food competition.

Expect Jen to nominate Dick and his daughter because Jen doesn't trust them.

Eric will be told who the viewers want to be eliminated but those were her choices at last statement she made before becoming HOH.

I could tell you more but this would last forever.

The whole point of the show is to stay in the house the longest. Whoever wins gets 1/2 million dollars. The Head of Household nominates two people to be evicted. At the end of the week the houseguests vote on who is going to be evicted. It is a great show and you may get hooked. I agree that Carol is very pretty

A buch of people are in the same house competeing for 50k they have a head of household challenge winner is head of household gets to nominate two people for eviction they have a power of veto competion winner gets power of veto which they can use to save themselves from being evicted if the head of house puts them up or save somone else from being evicted if they wish to.... If the POV is used then the head of house needs to put up someone else for eviction....They vote live and the person who is evicted must leave the house immeaditly... Food competions to stay off the slop which i have no idea what it is looks like really bad oatmeal..... The players also form an allliences with each other trying to get other people voted off the show.... Every season there are twists for example this year there is americas player he has task's assinged to him that he must try to accomplish if he does he get money if not he gets nothing also he has no control over his vote for eviction america tells him who to vote for!!! Also on this season they had selected a group of people that had a sometype of realationship with a few of the players and they were kept in the dark until they were introduced after everyone else was in the house...... These players are kept inside the Big Brother House until the game is over!!! At which time the jury which is made up of evicted house guest votes on who should win the money...All throughout the show the house guest can win other prizes as well the grand prize if they are lucky and play the game smart.... I posted links that might expain it better

Ok. their are 3 episodes a week.
Thursday- Eviction from previos week's nominations. Head of Household* competion.
Sunday- Food Competion** and HOH makes nomonations for who should be evictied.
Tuesday- Power of Veto*** competion. Veto Ceromony.
Thursday- Eviction from week's nomonations.

* HOH is a person who gets their own room and makes the nomonations. Bassically they have a pass for the week b/c they can't be voted out and they automaticly play in the POV competion.

**Food Competion is played with the House split up into 2 teams and the one that loses can only eat slop for the next week until the next food competion.

*** The POV is the Power to take off one of the nomonations and make The HOH put up a new nomoniee.

ok - so they all live in the house together - and basically the last one standing at the end gets the money - everyweek someone goes home. they compete for different things - like tonight the HOH competition. the HOH has the power to nominate 2 people to go home...the HOH also gets to have thier own room with some stuff from home...later there will be a competition for the power of veto - which means the nominations can be changed....

so - seems like ther eis no point right - put believe it or not it's pretty interesting - cracks me up to see what people will saw or do to get to the end -

like i said before - someone goes home everyweek - in my opinion she wasn't much of a player - so no real loss....

hope it all helps - it's fun and mindless - hope you watch some more and give it a chance -

Big Brother is a popularity, scheme and alliance show. People apply to be stuck in a house with 11 other people for the summer and they compete for things like HOH (Head of Household). They nominate and eliminate each other to the final three that compete for a bunch of money. The idea is to see how entertaining people become when stuck with people isolated from everyone else. Its a type of survivor with funky furniture.
