I don't understand the hatred they have for their fellow american.
They make it seem that they are the only ones paying taxes and they decide where it's spent.
They have no problem supporting Iraqi's yet don't give damn that americans are suffering.
They seem to think they are gods.
We live in a society....we don't live isolated. We have to get along but the hatred is so venomus it's scary.

Didn't I read you saying you are a conservative in some of your other posts? In my opinion it's always been that way. The only republican President I have ever had any respect for is Teddy Roosevelt. He put Americans above corporations and robber barons. The republican party in my opinion has been going down the tubes since Nixon. They talk a good game but their actions say something else entirely. Please correct me if I'm wrong about your political affiliation.

Foxy, I don't believe that most of us are cold hearted. I believe that we're simply fed up. What most conservatives won't admit is that this country is no longer conservative.

We're spending money like it grows on trees. We have program after program that is supposed to help people and they're failures. Instead of cleaning up what we have, we simply keep throwing money at stuff with NO accountability. It's an endless drain and nobody suggests any solutions. Instead, more programs are sought, more money is asked for and if you've been around as long as I have, you know the outcome will end up being the same. More money spent. Zero results.

We have more corrupt politicians in office than we've ever had. Try to find any conservatives up there. Honestly, I question if they even exist any more.

I'm by no means selfish, I donate selflessly to charities and help people all of the time. But!!!! We need to clean up our act as a nation. Figure out what is and isn't working, and introduce things that do, and rid ourselves of those that don't.

Can you imagine the billions of dollars that could be funneled into the RIGHT direction simply be doing that?

I used to be republican but now I am more a right wing indipendant. I see things from both sides. I feel that our government should be more like the way the constitution was originally written. Our government is moving away from the way the founding fathers wanted it to go. I really don't see why all of the politicians are into downtalking their opponants as opposed to stating how they would change the way things are going.

I am getting frustrated on how the democrats and the republicans are both more into name calling and running stupid investigations for things that really don't need investigating.

Should there be a congressional investigation anytime someone gets fired? NO. but why are they calling for one since President Bush fired the attorneys. They never mention that President Clinton fired all but one when he became president.

They work at the pleasure of the President and can be fired at any time like any other employee of the federal government.

I am begining to think that the government is being run by special interests groups as opposed to the government itself. The only politicians that I see now are the ones that bought them selves the office. Just look how much money it takes to run for president now. The presidency now costs what 100 million dollars to be able to win?

Lets get rid of the fund raising for the presidency.

I think today there is a a lot of anger or even hate in both parties. People are not happy with what is going on.
Republicans and Dems are concerned abut Americans suffering. Why do you think there is such a big uproar about illegal immigration.
I don't think it is just one parties fault. It is both

Don't put Repulicans in a box- there are many many self involved Democrates also. I vote conservative but give tons of my personal time in working with children and donating my murals to hospitals, childrens homes and teaching art courses asking no money except for supplies. Does that make me a hard hearted person? I tend to like to choose where my money goes rather than have the government (and Bush is doing that now sadly to say) waste it in useless endeavors and red tape and overpriced supplies as everyone knows they do. I'd like control of the borders and give opportunity for those trying to become good American citizens as they are crippled by red tape and stupid government paperwork also-but get the illegal criminals and get them the hell out. I'd love us to have a peaceful Middle East with others educating their children rather than raise them with propoganda and hate-anywhere in the world I might add. Including here. I'd like people to teach their kids to respect property and others and be polite. I'd like jerkds to turn down their bass in their cars so I can listen to my music without vibrating to theirs. WE are all in this together-everyone can be a jerk or a fool. Rather that we take the time to self educate and give each other a break. Get involved instead of complaining and do our bit part in making things better.Does it sound like I'm a total hateful person? I vote Repulican because overall I like the choice but always read and choose by the law or person or idea. I hope most of us do the same. We live in a huge and wonderful world that teaches us growth and adventure everyday-go get some of it! Get off your soapbox!

I'm a republican, have been for over 15 yrs. I have a large family. I'm suffering now but I don't believe that is the governments fault. We believe in working hard and helping one another; family, friends and church. Never have felt we needed to blame anyone and definitely don't believe in making the government bigger to take more of our money.

I love people so much that I know I would be only hurting them to give them false hope in a socialist society.

The human beings, in case you have no longer observed, or elect to ignore approximately it, we've been the international leaders in donations no longer just to different international locations, yet to those in want right here at abode. I think it is because they believe they remain anonymous on the Internet, which is 100% not true. I have a lot of Republican friends who are some of the nicest and warmest people in the world who would do anything for me. We just agree to disagree about politics, but we respect each other. How I wish it was like this on Yahoo!

You're not alone. Don't fall into the trap of political bigotry.

You know how many patriotic republicans there are out there.

I'm here to tell you that there are a lot of patriotic democrats as well, who have been treated well by fellow Americans, including patriotic republicans who appreciate our diversity of political opinion.

You just accused your whole party. That's political bigotry.

Don't join them.

I am treated so well, in the middle of Texas, no less! Oh, we argue! Boy, we have a blast! But I don't treat them badly for it, nor they, me.

Maybe it's because when i sit and listen to the democratic debates and hear all the candidates offering free health care, free college tuition, etc, then hear hillary tell with a straight face she wants to seize the oil industry's profits, because she can spend their money better than they can, it SMACKS of communism.
you brainwashed libs like to ***** about the 3,000 dead fighting terrorism (while continually jerking at the rug under their feet i might add) what about the 58,000 that died in southeast asia fighting a political ideoloogy you idiots now want to implement HERE.
