There is all types of data about Black people. But if looking for data specifically about white people one finds there is not as much data. I did a quick search. I googled "african-american teen pregnancy" most of the links were about teen pregancy in general, but quite a few were specifically about black women. As similar seach for "white american teen pregnancy" and "caucasian teen pregnancy" pretty much gave the same results about pregancy in general, but no results about white women specifically (at least on the first page).

My point is, why are Black people so often single out for study, but not white people?

I didn't say there weren't ANY links. But none that had white people or caucasians in the title. and all of the links you posted were from the same source.

Like I always say, sources for statistics cannot be trusted. We have no way of knowing whether or not they were gathered in the spirit of non-bias. Personally, I think there are a great deal of statistics that are false- purposely created to reflect negatively upon certain groups of people. And, in my opinion, this is the case regarding the statistics that you have read about black people. Perhaps not all-- However, since society and "the powers that be" are so full of prejudice, they have little to no credibility as a whole.

Have you ever noticed how many sources completely contradict each other? The last annual statistics that I read on the FBI's website was, I think, those for the year 2005. If I remember correctly, most of the long list of crimes were (according to the FBI) committed by whites. But how many sources have we seen produce statistics that claim black criminals are in the majority? And consider the statistics claiming that more white females get abortions. If this is true then how is it that there are more unwed black pregnancies (considering that so many sources claim that most abortions are sought after by unwed mothers)? There are contradictions all over. Why? Because of prejudice. In my mind, we are left with no other choice but to assume that all statistics are false and to completely disregard them. After all, race (or sexuality, religion, gender, etc...) doesn't predetermine what a person will think, feel, say, or do. Therefore statistics don't matter. Some may say that they do matter for the purpose of determining prejudice... But we already know that prejudice exists. And the fact is, as I'm sure that you are pointing out, statistics are just one product of prejudice.

How often do we turn on the television to watch the news and hear that there are more black people who have this disease or that disease? How often do we hear that blacks are more likely to have so-and-so problem or contract such-and-such illness? I hear it almost every day. My husband made the following statement recently: "I wonder why black people are so prone to all these problems."

"NO WAY," I told him, "Don't believe the hype. Is some of what you hear possible? Sure. I don't debate that. But we are living in a world eaten away by prejudice." The fact is that, regardless of much of the so-called research we read and hear about, we have to question things at every turn. I'll be damned before I allow my husband to think that he is somehow "prone" to anything simply because we live in a society that chooses to believe a bunch of bull sh1t spewed by people who only want to make money off of racists by publishing negativity towards black people (or anyone else).

(Sorry-- I went off on a bit of a rant. I apologize.)

What 6 year old stat are your referring to? The "70% of black women are single" stat? It's is a totally false and made up stat. If you had at least half a brain you could research that yourself and find that there are no credible sources out there that confirm it, yet here you are getting all butthurt over it. And then you can't figure out why people troll you. It's because it's too easy.

I have noticed since I was a child that our society has gone through some changes when it comes to their feeling toward black people. I can remember when Rosa Parks sat down at the front of the bus because she was just too tired to walk to the back. I was very little, but I didn't understand what all the uproar was about.
What a woman!

Then the Kennedy, Johnson era brought in a younger group of people of which I was one who hated racism. It was an era we fought for equality and brotherhood. Dr. King was right. Fair is fair. People became aware of the unfair treatment of the black citizens in the southern states especially. We fought for those rights in sit ins, picket line, and peaceful demonstrations.

I noticed about 15-years ago, all the ugliness of race hatred against blacks was coming back even in our smallest children It made me heart sore to see what had been so hard won thrown away in one generation.

Civil rights are not free. They must be guarded, protected and taught in the home. When the black community looses their rights again, we the people have failed a great portion of we the people. Do not go gentle into that dark night! Rage Rage against the dying of the light!

lol. I don't think you are really asking a questin. You are just pointing something out. You are saying that black people are almost "picked on" and I agree!
That's what happens right here under Society and Culture. At a certain time everyday, the questions go from "how can I improve my people skills" to "why are them monkey n*ggers so smelly?" A few questions focus on other minorities and whites, but a majority are about black people!

Maybe the people that run Google are the same white racists that are on Yahoo Answers. And the white racists that will answer your question. When ever an African asks a question, the white racists appear like maggots on a dead body.

Wrong. If the stats by the feds were reported in the MSM things would change in the USA for sure. It's burying the studies and statistics that keep this godless PC culture alive.Same with news stories.http://www.rense.com/general77/divn.htm Didn't see this one covered like the Duke case.In fact,I don't recall it being covered nationally at all.

Black men is that one that make it hard on the black race. If black men started to act like they should, then black women would not be looked at like we were the ones destroying society. Black men made themself a target by cheating and disrepecting black women, getting them pregnant and leaving. Now that they have made us a target of every statistic, they have moved on to other races to make them a target too. Hopefully, black men will stay over there with other races and black women can build up the race for ourselves and our children. Black men do not care that they are destroying everyone including the black woman. All they care about is if nobody says anything about it.

i'll have to say that history and even the present is written by the conquerors in this case. i live in Dunnville a small town in Ontario in this place is nothing if not filled with "white" single mothers around the age of 18 or 19. so i'm sure the old tried and true method of "if you don't look at it it's not there" is being used in this case

I hear you. I think it is ridiculous to do all these 'studies' comparing blacks and whites. If they really meant well, they would include all other races and colours. Its like they are always trying to proove something negative about black people.
