how many people are going to ask this question? oh well, easy 2pts. No, it's not natural. Women were made to reproduce with men. It's wrong.

It's a long hard fight that is worth it because gays deserve the same rights as heteros. At least they have been given paperwork similar to a marraige certificate. That has been a clever way around the religious right. Seriously! has the law against underage drinking and the war on drugs ever stopped this from ever happen in all of america? So why should a law against same sex marriage stop people from being in homosexual unions. They need to acknowledge that. And moreso because it is no longer a crime.
Aside from that, it seems kinda weird that a hetero could also marry another hetero because they want to live together. I wonder if that would ever happen.

Absolutely not!!!
God instituted marriage to begin with...He made the rules..
Had same sex marriage been part of God's design then he surely wouldn't have destroyed the homosexuals in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.
No one is born Gay!!! Gays should have no "special" privilege"
The destruction of a country=sodomites....the reason I state that is if you look into the history of all great empires, the acceptance of homosexual behavior was the one key factor in it's demise.
And anyone who stands up and states their belief is labeled judgmental, We are talking about deviant behavior not whether I should be decent to the "gay" next door.
Then they have the gay parades..It's disgusting and shameful they way they behave in public...They disgrace humanity
God made Adam and Eve...
This was the first marriage...
So to say marriage was around before religion would be like saying what came first the chicken or the egg?

I've always been for it. Why shouldn't couples of the same sex who live together for 40-50 years have the same benefitis as hetero couples who do the same? Religion has very little to do with marriage. Civil marriages have been around since the dawn of time, thousands of years before any religion entered into them, especially Christianity. Humanity was on this earth thousands of years prior to Christianity so bringing up "the bible" is a moot point. Religion has nothing to do with a marriage unless the couple CHOOSES to bring religion into their marriage.

Same sex marriage should be outlawed. This world is headed for distruction and disaster. The funny things is, whenever something bad happens in the world, everyone wants to rely on God and bring him back into our world but when everything is going well, God is never mentioned. God did not intend for a man to marry a man nor a woman to marry a woman.
Marriages are sacred and to intrude on this blessing is forbidden.................

I was always a firm believer that marriage should be between a man and a woman. I was brought up in the church, and this is what the teachings were. I have recently watched a show called The L Word on Showtime, and I normally wouldn't watch a show like this because I really can't relate to it, but I decided to watch it anyways. Seeing them go throught their lives, relationships, hardships, I have realized that there is really no difference between man and women being together or men and men or women and women. We all go through the same issues with relationships, friendships, jobs, family, so why not let them get married. I now know that love is love, because it took a tv show to show that their lives are really no different then mine.

Well...
I think people should be able to share property, insurance, etc. because they chose to make a legally binding obligation to one another. That goes for siblings, business partners, friends, and/or lovers.
I don't feel wonderfully supportive of gay marriage, though. I've got two gay brother's, so I don't hate gays. I just think marriage is something that is already taken. If you've got an alternative lifestyle, have an alternative commitment.

If the Straight can get divorced then the Gay should be able to as well!
Hell maybe the Gay could show the straight what marriage is all about!
I am 100% for it, and shame on anyone who feels they have the right to say other wise!

I don't like it being called a "marriage" but I don't have any problem with a same-sex commitment ceremony or calling it a same-sex union.

It is a way to oppose society, and to beat the system of money. Do not approve, if they want to live together let them go ahead, but the law does not nor does it have to accept full rites of the marriage partner.

Being in church and trying to do the right thing I would have to say that it is morally wrong for someone to be attracted to a person of the same sex. I don't judge people that are...I just don't agree with it...that's why I chose to raise my family in a small rural town.
