I'm a young novelist, age 14, I'm working on 28 novels of mine. I really hope that one of my novels will be made into a movie, or I will be interviewed on tv for one at least. I;'m wondering what might have to be done, or what the chances are of having these things happen to me.

It all depends on the quality of the novels. Working on the novels is only half the battle... once they're done, you have the long process of editing (you'll need a professional editor) and an agent to sell your book to a publishing company.

Chances are slim, since the competition is very fierce in the book world... how many authors' names does any random person know? 5, probably, or maybe 10 counting celebrity writers. And that's out of hundreds of thousands of authors. Christopher Paolini, young author of Eragon, published the book himself, with the help of his parents, and it was by sheer luck that someone of importance found it and liked it.

Some of it is luck, some of it is quality of the work... the best you can do is aim to become a good writer, not to become famous. Fame means nothing, but continually growing as a writer and being happy with your hobby or profession (if you continue writing into your adult years) is what's most important.

Good luck!

Very low. Do you know that the average novelist makes about 3 - 5 thousand dollars a year. Most still have to hold down their day job. AND make their commitment to the publisher for the next book. If you want to write, don't focus on the handful of people who get a lucky jump because Oprah mentions them or they just happen to be in the right place at the right time. Talk to other published authors and you will find out that being a writer is 99% hard work and love of the written word.

Woah. My chum and that i've got continuously wanted to study this e book ever because of the fact my 3 hundred and sixty 5 days 9 instructor reported it years in the past. although, this is merely obtainable in French on the community library the final time I checked. I heard it became into written from a pedo view and it merely seems so clean and incorrect to me. My chum is rather into psychology and doubtless desires to examine the pedo.
