Don't you think that's the last thing Jesus will want to see when he comes back?

It's supposed to remind us of His sacrifice, but we shouldn't concentrate on His Death. The miracle and the whole reason we worship Him is that He's alive because He rose from the dead.
I don't have any crosses anywhere, neither does my sister and we're both evangelical. In fact, as a rule, evangelical Crhsitians tend to shun crucifixes and even crosses.

It has crossed my mind too. Particularly the crucifix as a piece of jewellery; I don't think most people wear it in order to commemorate Christ's sacrifice. It's purely there for aesthetic reasons-how ethical is that? Jesus wanted to teach us how to be better men and Christians; not fashion.

i used to do this, and i recently had a light bulb come on in my head. this is not my cross to bear. so down they came and off the neck and ears! i now where a ring that says faith = trust=. i like spinning it around my finger cause the one is always = to the other.âºâ¥

I know I would be a little bit wary of people who hung a likeness of me around their necks with me nailed to a cross.

i dont not wear crucifixes or hang them on my wall i do have plain crosses however.in my religion we do not believe in the crucifix because Jesus is no longer on the cross he rose from the dead for our sins.

no! he want to see what you have done on earth, for Him or for yourself and many other things. hanging all these crucifixes was only to remind you of Him.

a cross is a symbol of death
and a torture death
