So this is my own poll. Who here on Yahoo! thinks that Bush should be impeached he has done such a horrible job, who thinks he has done a bad job but should remain in office, who thinks he has done O.K., and who thinks he is the greatest. A rating system such as 1-10 stars will help get your opinion understood, and please give some sort of reason or description.
My view... We should hold bad politicians accountable for the treason that they have committed by not adhering to the Constitution and their Oaths. And Bush especially. Impeachment is not an option, the penalty for treason is death or life imprisonment. If that were the "reward" for abusing your powers to violate the People's rights, then I know scandals would drastically be reduced to damn close to none.
rating 0 out of 10 stars......now it is your turn.

Dick Cheney not Chaney and Nancy Polosi would also be in prison
3/4 of Congress and the House too for that matter.
WW3 has not started yet and I would be on the side of ME, American freedoms, not socialistic security.
And what is patriotic about sending Americans to die for freedoms in another country.
The American public did not vote for him, apparently you don't know how the voting process works, we voted for electors, electors voted for bush.
And if I'm remembering this correctly John Kerry won the popular vote, and Bush won the electoral college, Kerry chose not to challenge it so Bush wonthe presidency.
The low approval rating only proves that he is not doing what the American people want the American president to be doing, he is doing what HE thinks is best for the country and he has no authority to dictate our lives
We don't have a few months unless you think 17 months is only a few.
Sending a message is the wrong reason for impeachment; doing a bad job is the PERFECT reason.

Would you fire an employee just as a message? NO you fire him because he does a bad job.
Well the president works FOR YOU, not the other way around.
I know the Constitution a lot better than the Vice President apparently
since I know that it is the 2nd article that specifically states the Vice President is a member of the executive branch.
And when you are the head of the policing force in this country what authority does Bush have to tell D.A.'s to refuse to submit to a subpoena.
There were much better ways of taking care of radicalism then giving up Americans rights and privacy.
UtahMike, I think you need to look up the definition of callously, because yes I am being cruel and insensitive to Bush.
I don't care if I hurt his feelings or how he feels for that matter, does he care about me, I don't think so.
He has not done one thing, in my opinion, that has helped me or my family.

Who trained Al Quaeda? An unconstitutional entity called the CIA did.
Who levied the US into this war? GWB did on his own behalf, not mine, maybe yours, but apparently against the wishes of 70% of the American population.
So how is that loosely used, it fits perfectly.
And I don't care how many stars I get, because It doesn't matter what the president has to say I will still stand up and say "I have the right to my free speech, and no laws or amendments will ever make me give them to you."
"You did not give me my rights I always had them, nothing you pass can take them away.
You may try and violate them, but I will still have them."
Unfortunately Yahoo! does not supply enough room on their server to list the reasons for Bush's impeachment,
so I will simply say defying the voice of the American people when they have so loudly spoken against his actions.

Everyone who read this, a challenge, look up the Constitution, look up the Declaration of Independence. Now tell me where does it say, "The United States of America"? Nowhere, that is where. It says, "the united states of America". Notice the capitalization. Don't believe me go to D.C. and read it for yourself, I have. The states are a higher authority then federal, but you wouldn't know that today because of corrupt politicians taking away are rights. We are states that were united in our declaration. We are America. Stop calling it the U.S. I am a citizen of Connecticut, and when you say you are a United States citizen you have just transfered all of your rights into privileges granted by the government. I have been studying the Constitution for the past year, as well as laws and tax codes, so believe me or not, I know what I am talking about, and the government screwed you the day you were born, and they refuse to pull out. If you don't know your rights tomorrow you will have NONE.

Treason is used callously around here. And it is not an accurate term. It is just an opinion brought forth by people who are still bent over Clinton getting impeached and not from any violations. Just because someone wants Bush impeached by no means makes it so. I want to have sex with Lyndsay Lohan. It doesn't mean that it will happen I am sorry to say. But the point is that you must set aside your unfounded hatred for President Bush and really look at what President Bush has done to warrant your wrath. Just because Bush is someone you do not like is not good enough. The Presidency is not a popularity contest. He is doing what he feels is right for America as a whole. He is not going to make everybody happy. Neither did ANY President. That's just the way it goes.
BTW you get ZERO stars.

First, he has not done anything he could be impeached for. If he had, the dems would have crucified him the minute they took office.
Now, as for his rating. I would rate him at a 5 stars. He was great on the war on terror at the start, and was great on the economy at the start, but the tax cuts produced a lot of revenue and he was right on line with Congress to spend it. He also listened to liberals about the war in Iraq, and is now fighting it like those pu$$ies would, and that is why we are not gaining any ground. Shock and awe should resume immediately.
As for the immigration policy, if there was ever a reason to impeach it would be if he signed ANY form of amnesty into law.
I guess to sum it up...He started as a conservative, and has become so liberal that Hillary should be proud.

rating 0 out of 10 stars. I can't believe the american people have stood by while the bush administration has given us illegal elections, torture as acceptable interagation and total disregard for the laws and constitution of the united states. We need a new investigation of 911! There are alot of questions to be answered.
As for 2008, check out Ron Paul.

Bush and the Democratic congress are a bunch of nincompoops who's heads are so far stuck up their elitist butts none of them can see straight. All they are interested in is getting re-elected. In Bush's case he is globalist who is myopically focused on open borders and the fight the Iraq war that he has gone deaf, dumb and blind to his conservative base and to the American people as a whole. No matter what side of the isle you sit politically, we need a new President and Congress who will actually support our borders, language and culture and be fiscally responsible to boot. With out solid bipartisan leadership in Washington, this country is domed.

You might try learning the constitution a bit first you have to commit an impeachable offense. Before you are supposed to be Impeached
job approval rating
initially 7-8
last 2 years as he tries to appeal to libs
3-4
Lets remember that congress is half of Bush's approval rating does that mean we remove all of them?

I give him 2 stars...and that's just for his entertainment value.
Remember when you were in school...a 100% was an 'A, 85% was a 'B...well, I believe a 69% and below was an 'E and that meant you failed. How can we have a president with a 30% approval rating go unpunished? I don't know if he should be impeached, but something should be done. Can't he 'phone a friend' or something? It's really pathetic....but...we (NOT ME) the American public voted for him....again.

He should be Impeached. Not so much because he has done a horrible job (doing badly is not an impeachable offense.)
We need to impeach him to send a message to the world that we will not accept this "monarch" of a President.
There are several reasons in the link I have included below.

3-stars. G.W. is just the charismatic figure head for a fundamentally corrupt government. I think he's the most entertaining Pres. ever. G.W. is not smart enough to be an evil mastermind. The power elite placed him in office in order to divide the people so that we would be blinded to the real threat to our individual freedoms(Global Socialism).
Power to the People!

It's a dead horse ~ leave it alone. If we impeach Bush, we get Chaney and if we impeach Chaney we get Polosie (sp?). And the 2008 choices are no better.
