I have been told there is no such thing...but things can happen.

Though false positives are unlikely, it is always a possibility. Some medications can effect the hcg in your urine causing it to show a positive test result when you are not pregnant. Check with your doctor and good luck!

there is no such thing as a false positive, the home pregnancy tests test for a hormone you only have when you are pregnant, Once it is detected thats that, your pregnant, there are such things as false negatives becuase sometimes the hormone isnt strong enough for the test to pick up on thats why you can get a test that says your not pregnant even when you are.

very rarely only false positive u can get is if the test is faulty or if u have some type of problem with ur ovaries or hormone level

Yes it can be if you ingest a pill. Read the instruction box!!!!

There it says some pills that can cause a hpt positive!


But that is a rare case!!!

a positive is a positive...unless you have just recently (and i mean within the last 2 weeks or so) have had a miscarriage...and then it still may show positive but really its not...congrats if you are

I have never seen one, if you think you have one, get another test. I don't think you can have two.
