From some things I have read it leaned definitely in that direction. Either that or was just a greedy, megolomaniac.

He was a genius in a time where fascism was very popular, and he did hold some opinions that by todays standards would be unpopular. By his time standards, he was a good man.

to the guy above who says he can't see a fascist drawing cartoons? Hitler was an artist! and has he seen some of the propaganda cartoons from Nazi Germany?

No--no more than Henry Ford was a Nazi. Apart from his "views," I can't see a real fascist drawing cartoons.
