Why Are we Egyptians so Emotional ?

Why are we rejecting Criticism from whomever ? and Why do we always perceive it as insulting ?
Why do we believe we're Perfect while we're not ? we're not even close..
Why do we tend to judge things upon how we feel and how we want them to be, not how they Actually are ? especially when judging ourselves..
Why are we so Ashamed of everything Islamic ? Islamophobia is Non-Islamic, howcome most of Muslim Egyptians are Islamophobic?
Why are we trying so hard to copy other cultures, and harder enough escaping ours?...We can't be them, and we're not ourselves, this way we become Nothing..

psycho is talking about a kind of Egyptian people which is present every where in Egypt
wise heart is the sound of good Egyptians as usual
but guys really many Egyptians [ 3awzeen darb el gezam ] every one now is so material , self involved , arrogant , dull , criticize a lot and don't do anything valuable [ mostly every one ] so I understand both of you , and I can't change any one but my self and my family and friends

I don't think Egyptians are ashamed of everything Islamic. They are so proud of their religion. what, 80 or 90 percent of Egyptian women wear hijab? and how many Egyptians fast in Ramadan? 99? How can they be Islamophobic?

And I know that I'm gonna get lots of thumbs down here. But most Arabic countries reject criticism from others and get so defensive.

I give my answer here.

- We are not rejecting critisim, we criticis everything including ourselves. The answer to second; It's not true that we perceive it as insulting.

- We are not perfect and we are away from being perfect, so also it's your personal mind who think so.

- Many people are emotional by nature and there are others like me who judge things with logic and mind with experience too specially when I judge myself. I teach others to do it my way.
- Not true at all. We are not ashamed of everything Islamic. Egyptians are not Islamophobic at all. Egyptians are modest and accept and understand everything around them. this applies also on simple and half educated people and does not include the upnormal persons who have thinking problems and social problems.
- Copieng other cultures was never been in Egypt. It appleis in may be in Gulf countries or countries with no culture. In Egypt culture is taking and giving to other cultures and never copy. That's why Egypt is unique.
- The majority of us know that we are 'us' the unique Egyptians with all their good and bad points. We are a live. We interact with the world in a very active life open on all the world with good and evil.
