Bowie has always been a Chameleon, which is why he has been able to stay current for 40 years. Queen was great, don't get me wrong, but Bowie is such an entrepreneur - art, movies, tv (anyone see him on Extras? Hilarious!), Internet, satellite radio - Even if we're just talking about music alone - Bowie has succeeded in keeping fans interested for over 40 years, continuously putting out innovative music!

Bowie hands down.
Far more prolific.
Wouldn't you have separated the men from the boys by offering Iggy Pop vs David Bowie?

Bowie had lots of hit singles as did Queen...Hunky Dory is a great album, but Im gonna vote Queen on this one. Bowie seemed to be a bit of a singles artist, whereas Queen had great album after album of wicked serious proportion. Roger Taylor hella good.

Bowie...I liked Queen and all, but David Bowie is the best! He's been successful over so many years and albums.

Love them both. David Bowie's version of "See Emily Play" is one of my all time favorite songs. Queen's "Bicycle" is another all time favorite. I especially appreciate the timing/beat in relation to the words and progression of the song.

Cha-cha-cha-changes.
Queen. Hands down. How many singles have they come out with? Granted their not around much since late ole' Freddy Mercury; their much more socially recoganized.
Don't get me wrong I love Bowie but queens the better choice mate.
