Apparently I was three. My parents were so convinced that their 4th child would finally be a girl that they fooled themselves. Sure, when I was born it was difficult to tell that I was a boy...I'm half French, you see. This has caused me no psychological problems.

I agree with you about it being disturbing. My boyfriends sister started wearing makeup when she was 11. Her mom allowed her to wear foundation, bronzer, heavy eyeliner, eyeshadow, etc and she looks SO much older. She is now 13 and sometimes when I take her places and old guys hit on me, (you know the usual old perverts) they hit on her too! She actually was sneaking and "dating" a 23 year old man (I don't even want to THINK about that) and ran off with him for a week (she didn't even get in trouble either) and she was telling him she was 18!! I will say that wearing all that crap makes her look much older, and its taken a toll on her skin. When she doesn't have makeup on her pores are clogged and she has lots of pimples and her skin looks sallow.
I didn't begin to wear makeup until I was 17 (other than some lipgloss here and there) and even then all I used was eyeliner and blush. To this day I don't bother with makeup very often and I refuse to wear those heavy foundations, and I think my skin is thankful for that.....

I started wearing make up at 18, just a simple powder and lip gloss for my school... I also avoid wearing that, specially when you don't know how to apply it. A lot of girls look like bitches by applying too much make up on... others also look pathetic by applying makes ups not applicable for their skin tone. Plus, some make ups clogged your pores and adds white heads and even pimple.
A cousin of mine, just used a simple loose powder and it causes her an allergy. Well, make isn't bad, specially if you could gain more confidence just make sure you know how! Your dad just thinking of what other guys will say or think about you. He's also a man, he might probably think that other guys think of you the same way. So thank dad

I was able to wear eyeshadow at 13. I didn't start wearing anything else until I was about 16. I agree I see these little girls wearing makeup and skippy clothes. They have no idea what trouble they can get into.
