The war is going bad, there is no progress for the Iraqis or for the American people. By the way, there is no liberal media, there is media mostly owned and controlled by business corporations.

"A successful strategy for Iraq goes beyond military operations. Ordinary Iraqi citizens must see that military operations are accompanied by visible improvements in their neighborhoods and communities. So America will hold the Iraqi government to the benchmarks it has announced."

President Bush, a surprising member of the liberal media?

What liberal media? There is no liberal media. That's a myth plugged into your head by the CONSERVATIVE media.

Benchmarks are used in business all the time. CONSERAVTIVES know this, and most business-people are CONs. Without benchmarks, we would continue to throw good money after bad. Hmmmmmm? Think about that!

It's something they can fall back on if the surge does do any good. They are already crying the surge isn't having an effect...it started what? 3 months ago and the last of the surge just arrived a week ago?
I would like to compare the Dems benchmarks that they promised when they took office and copare with the Iraqis..they have accomplished more in the stress and conditions they are working under.

The media is not liberal. It's that everything has been so far right for a while that anything slightly towards the center is now labeled as a "far left media outlet".

Liberals use facts.

Conservatives use emotion and irrelevant information.

they are talking about it because it's just another failure in a long line...
