I have heard some very negative feedback about real estate that the Church of the Later Day Saints runs in New York City. They have forced people to give up their apartments with only 30 days notice and demanded rent increases that are ridiculous given the current state of their properties. I have heard they are very poorly managed at the top level and are only concerned with profit Poor living conditions, huge rent increases and they claim to be a Church? They seem very questionable in their business practices.

Ah, some more anti-mormon propaganda. Funny how there wasn't any of this on these boards a year ago. Someone is really afraid of Mitt Romney, I suspect.

They are all Republicans and not concerned with the little guy so much as with profit...big business...the American way, etc. etc. If you think, as a church, they should be more concerned with the people, you are not alone in your thinking. But then, churches should not run for profit businesses, should they?
