If I had to in order to defend my own life or the lives of my loved ones, yes, I could live with being responsible for someones' death. If they died because of my irresponsible behaviour, I think that would ruin the rest of my life - I might as well have died myself.

No i just couldnt. Even if it were a self defense issue. Just like I couldnt even kill an animal, i could never kill a human and not feel some sort of depression or remorse because I value life that much which is the exact reason why I oppose the death penalty..UNLESS... the offender was a serial killer who seeks not to repent or some sort of redemption.

Let say I caught someone molesting or raping my niece, or daughter or someone like that, I would kill that scumbag with no regrets.

Also, if someone break into my house, I would kill that person in self defense. I would have no problem killing someone for these type of situation.

Now lets say I'm cleaning my gun and it went off and killed a small child, I would feel very horrible, and couldn't live with myself.

I believe there are criminals that deserve death primarily because of the lives that could be saved with the $150K per year it costs to keep that idiot in high security prison. A lot of hungry kids would do better in school and thats a lot better investment than keeping a mass murderer alive.

Yep, been there done that. Pick a job. I was in the US Marines, I've worked in law enforcement and I've been threatened by several thugs many times.

Pick an occupation.

Yes if it came down to kill or be killed I could and if someone was going to hurt my family I could. So yes I could kill and live with it.

yep, I sure can if I killed in self defense for myself/my son/my family. But if it was someone that was innocent like in a car accident that was totally my fault, I would feel horrible for the rest of my life.

no i would probably turn myself in, if i lived, or i could feel so bad that i would also kill myself. BUT before i do/think of that i would rather go to prison and pay for what i did.
