Wish I could help but not knowing your geographic area it is not possible to tell.
I mean in the U.S. you could be 5 minutes or 24 hours from a beach.

If I hit the 605 south, I can be at the ocean shore in 20 minutes. But I'm in California.

like that actual town of Ocean Shores in Washington state or somewhere else?

It depends on where you start from. I've been there before and it's really quite a nice little place.
