Well, I applied for work and asked me to contact a lawyer for some paper works.

not necessesarily

there are some pointers
if they demand money up front
if they are vague about who you will be working for
if you are relatively unskilled and they are offering you a dream job

but hte real giveaway will be if they only give you a UK telehpone number starting +447 or 07.. thats a mobile number, if they dont have a land line then almost certainly they will be scam merchants. however there are plenty of scamsters who have a seemingly legitmate business with the landline.

dont pay any fees up front
dont agree to pay any fees full stop, after all they are supposedly recruitment agents recruiting employees for their customers.. their customer the compnay they place you with should be paying the fees

I don't understand your question, you need to give more details.

Are you in the UK? What is the paperwork you refer to? If an employer has asked you to see a lawyer, that sounds fairly safe to me. Lawyers are by definition bound by the law.
