Nope, not at all. Naive just means inexperienced, therefore not as knowledgeable about certain things. You can not know a lot of things but still be an extremely intelligent individual, it's just that you need more exposure. Smart people can sometimes do very stupid things simply because nobody ever told them better ways or because they're just, well, naive.

No. absolutely not
People can be extremely knowledgable about so many high tech and complicated things, and yet very naive about the simpliest thing in everyday life. Like grocery shopping, cooking, relationships, raising kids, getting along with people.
this is not the basis for a lack of intelligence

Sometimes curiosity is associated with intelligence and if someone is naive it could be because they are not curious or interested in the world around them to see what is going on. So I am saying that naivety can be associated with a lack of intelligence.

No--I think naivete is a matter of NOT KNOWING or being familiar with all the factors in a given situation...it doesn't make you less intelligent because you haven't been exposed to something. All of us have--or will--make decisions based on LESS information rather than MORE, but that doesn't equate with less intelligence.

No, just not as informed. Not enough life experiences yet. Then again some people stay naive all their lives.

No, they are just inexperienced in some aspects. On the flip side those who are high in intelligence tend to lack common sense.
