Like dude above said, you want to go into internet options under tools and delete temp internet files, cookies and history, but that will only hide it from someone who doesn't know were to look. If your just hiding stuff from your wife and she's not savy, then that might do. If you are hiding stuff from the FBI then they'll find it.

You do not know what you are talking about.

You never delete your IP address. It is either a static IP or given to you from a DHCP server like a router or server in a client / server architecture.

An IP address cannot save anything. Think of an IP address something like a phone number - merely a way to link to a pc like a phone number is a way to link to a person. The IP address cannot save or retain anything.

If you want to hide where you have been on your pc, it is probably because you were at places you probably should not be.

You need to delete temporary internet files and yout history. In Internet Explorer this is done in tools / internet options.

Do you know what an IP Address is?????? An IP Address can be deleted....there's nothing that can.Just like your home address....you can't take it out...or else you wouldn't have a home.
