Before the Americans blew the place to hell it was free. Now the only people they get are those suffering from bombing, napalm, snipers bullets, serious illness from radiated shells and uncle Bush is paying because you cant really ask someone whos just been blown up to pay first. Only in America.

I don't have a clue, but what I see on TV Iraq currently in its war situation doesn't have near the Doctors and professionals available that lived in the country before six years ago. Without health providers (Dr's. nurses, pharmacists, and damaged facilities, offices, and abundant danger just getting around town, regardless what type of health care is in Iraq, just getting any for anybody sounds quite challenging. Prior to this latest war from what I understand Iraq was quite advanced in many professional areas with colleges, hospitals and infrastructure. I hope that someday inhabitants of that area of the world regardless of what type of gov't, political boundaries develop don't have to be a subculture in comparison to other areas of the world. Their history over the last 500 years doesn't show them as being substantial worse off than other peoples, hence in time (maybe allot of time ~100 years) their peoples can resume the destiny which generally has shown to be positive in the past.

You have to have a functional govt to have universal health care. The idea of universal healthcare is the govt pays for it with tax dollars.

So NO.

It's written in the Constitution, but all the doctors escaped from Iraq, along with anyone else who could.

health-care for your average Iraqi is as patchy as everything else.
since there are regular power cuts, lack of imported medicines etc etc,
i can imagine it's as bad as the NHS here in the UK or the Healthcare ( or lack of ) documented in Sicko!

Hopefully, Not!!!
Universal (Socialized) Healthcare is a Complete Failure.
Everyone with money, from Europe & Canada, all come to the US for Healthcare.
