I can legally drink in Australia, but I am unsure if that fact allows me to legally drink in America who's legal drinking age is 21 (which is massive!).

Ummm, the answer is totally NO.

You must be 21 years old to drink in a bar in America, regardless of where you are from.

Okay technically the drinking age is 21 for residents and visitors, but there are quite a few places in the major cities that do not check ID. Just talk to people local to that area and find out which places do that. I've learned that in places where not much english is spoken, it is easier to get away with.

When visiting a country, you're subject to the country's laws. That's why Americans under 21 go to Canada because they can legally drink there.

drinking age is 21 in all states in the USA proving your 18 won't do you any good sorry.

No I dont think it would. I'm pretty sure you have to be 21 no matter where u are from.
