You know...I have wondered the same thing. I have decided that the girl going with the loser has low self esteem so they settle for less and then think that maybe they can fix them(make them be someone they are not). Eventually the girl will realize that the guy will not change and will leave the guy.
I also think that these are commonly the relationships where the girl finds out that she is pregnant and then the guy and girl end up having to live w/one of their parents or be on welfare.

because there are losers on both sides of the fence. And maybe the psychology or scientist nature kicked in and they simply want to study someone up close and personal. Just to name a few.

Because they are not as educated as they'd like to be, because they have very low self-esteem, because they do not think they can get anyone better so they just settle.

since they have gained their independence from mankind, they use us only for their entertainment, and can afford the services of a real loser, as long as he knows how to perform in the sack.
