One in three women have a miscarriage without even knowing it. The baby just passes as if it were a period. Signs of miscarriage are similar to those of a period only more intense. I have had 3 miscarriages. One was at about 9 weeks. I strongly suggest you go to your physician to make sure you do not need surgical intervention to clear the remains if the baby has passed. Are you sure you are pregnant? 11 weeks you should already have a physician to guide your care. Since this question was posted in Adolescent I assume you are young-all the more reason you need that extra care from your doctor. if mom doesn't know yet and you don't want to tell her until you know for sure go to your health department and get tested. Then you HAVE to tell her so that you can get the best possible care for you and baby.

Debbie V - Not a big deal? It's a 13 year old girl, who is scared out of her mind, because she's pregnant and scared she might misscary, I think it's a big deal.

First of all, you need to get to a doctor. Secondly, you need to talk to your parents or gardians. Why is a 13 year old having sex, if she's not mature enough to take care of the consiquence? I'm not saying having a baby is a consiquence if you have someone supporting you through the pregnancy and are seeing the doctor regulary, but this is ridiculas. Why are you even having sex? Go play outside, enjoy the little bit of childhood you have left, before taking care of a baby 24/7, and waisting your life away.

You need to go to a doctor to get checked out. Yes what everyone else said about infections and the bleeding is true, so get an appointment ASAP!! I am sorry that you are freaked out but it is better to be safe than sorry. While you are at the office, make an appointment to come in later for birth control.

if you having a miscarriage you want to see a doctor because a miscarriage can last up to two weeks. I've been through it and it's nothing you want to last longer than it has to. and if you are "just" bleeding while you are pregnant you want a doctor to check you out. there are clinics out there that are low cost or free. check out one of those. you need to talk to your parents, life might be hell for awhile but you should have thought of the consequences before you had sex and didn't use protection

You most likely are not just having a period while your pregnant. Infection can severly hurt you! I've told you before and I'll tell you as long as you keep posting these ridiculous questions, you need to take care of this! GROW UP! I fyou are old enough to have sex you are old enough to deal with this. I'm not throwing you into adulthood you did it yourself when you had sex. Tell your parents and get to the doctor.

Get to a medical provider immediately.

If you are old enough to be engaging in sex, you need to be mature enough to deal with what is happening.

IF you are miscarrying, you could bleed to death at worst, or get an infection that could leave you sterile for life.

GROW UP. You're old enough to have sex, then you need to take responsibility.

See your family physician or talk with your parents TODAY.

Hopefully, the truth will scare you into getting assistance immediately.

PLEASE!! All the drama!!

Miscarrying a baby at 11 weeks is like having a really nasty period. You bleed for a few days and it goes away. If you bleed too much you see the dr. If you start running a temperature, you see the dr. Otherwise, it's not a big deal.

However, I am not an experienced medical professional.
