when I am trying to sew, it is like the top thread leaves one giant huge stitch and the bobbin thread does nothing. HELP. I am new to this machine. It seems to be in great working order, and I just got it. I am so disappointed I must be doing something wrong....wrong threading? wrong way of putting in the bobbin? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks a BUNCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes they need a tune up. I think it runs about $25 at Joann's. Rather than goof around it's probably worth your time and money to let them do that.

It could be the way you thread the bobbin. You need to load the bobbin into the case so that the tail is coming out into your left hand. Then it has to go into the little slot before you load the bobbin case into the machine. But you also need to have the machine tuned. There are parts inside that we can't reach, that need to be cleaned and greased once a year. Then you can ask the service person if you're threading everything correctly, and if there could be another cause for your skipped stitches.

Have it checked by a sewing machine expert. It could be a minor problem.

Make sure your needle is new and the right type for the material you are sewing.
