Well, this is my theory:
Harry will go visit his parents graves with Ron and Hermione. When they are there Harry will say that he wants to be alone, so when Ron and Hermione walk away for a while, Harry notices a guy that is also staring at some graves. Then he asks Harry who he's visiting. Harry tells him that he's visiting his parents and the says that he's visiting his parent's graves too because Voldemort killed them. Harry asks him who he is. The guy tells him his name and Harry tells him his, but what Harry doesn't realize is that the guy's whole name is actually the initials R.A.B from the locket that he and Dumbledore found. Then R.A.B tells him that he is hunting Voldemort by tracking down the horcruxes. he also mentions that he has already destroyed one, the same one in the locket that Harry found with Dumbledore, and that he's hunting the five left because the last one is still in Voldemort's body. When Harry realizes what he is talking about, he tells R.A.B that he has already destroyed another two, the diary and the ring. Harry also explains that he knows that two of the last three horcruxes are Nagini, Voldemort's snake, and possibly a Hufflepuff cup. Soon they go of hunting for the horcruxes with Ron and Hermione. BUT... R.A.B is actually a Death Eater and is working for Voldemort. He tells Voldemort that they are almost getting ready to get the last horcrux which is inside him. Voldemort is pleased with him. Later on Harry finds out that R.A.B is a not a real friend because he's working for Voldemort, so actually Harry kills him. Harry then tells all of his friends, Neville, Ginny, Ron, Hermione, and Luna, that he has to go by himself. As soon as he's ready he sets off to go to the same cave that he and Dumbledore had gone a year before. There he finds himself facing Voldemort and at least a dozen Death Eaters. Before they begin battling, Voldemort tell his Death Eaters to do nothing. Soon there are a lot of spells fling everywhere. In the mean while all of Harry's friends are actually on there way to the cave. Out of nowhere they appear at the cave, at the sight of his friends Harry is so surprised that he turns around not seein an Avada Kedavra curse flying toward him, which hits him on the back. Then all the fighting just stops, at that moment a couple of members of the Order of the Phoenix. Ginny also sees Harry's lifeless body on the floor which fills her up with rage and starts shooting all kinds of spells at him, while the cave just fills up with laughter from Voldemort as if he was simply playing a game of hide and seek. Sadly Ginny is no match for the Dark Lord because soon a killing curse heads her way which hit her squarely on the chest. Somehow the all the Death Eaters are on the floor either knocked out or either squirming in some invinsible ropes. At the sight of Ginny on the floor everbody is in the state of shock, except Neville, who is filled up with extreme rage because he secretly LOVED Ginny because she was so nice to him. Also like Ginny he starts shooting spells while every on else are fighting some Inferi that seemed like they came out of thin air. Although like Ginny, Neville actually starts shooting killing curses. Once again the sound of cruel laughter is filling the air combined with the sounds of everybody yelling spells. While Voldemort is occupied with laughing at Neville he doesn't notice five killing curses heading toward him, which all five hit him all over his body. At that same momentall the Inferi stop in their tracks and just fall to the ground. Everybody turns around to see Nevill crouching over Ginny's body
THE END
Allof these events that I just told you is what I think will happen in the book.

merely one person has survived an instantaneous hit of Avada Kedavra, and this is Harry Potter. someone can block it with the aid of putting some actual barrier between themselves and the spell. Harry in the graveyard in Goblet of fire, for instance, hides at the back of a headstone and an Avada Kedavra curse hits the headstone and does not attain Harry. Magical obstacles, nevertheless, do no longer paintings... different than in the case the place Lily Potter's sacrifice risk-free Harry from loss of life. Fawkes the Phoenix burst into flame while he swallowed an Avada Kedavra curse so as of the Phoenix... Fawkes technically could no longer die continuously because of the fact he's a Phoenix - yet he died and became into reborn from his very own ashes while Avada Kedavra hit him.

Only one person has survived a direct hit of Avada Kedavra, and it's Harry Potter.
A person can block it by putting some physical barrier between themselves and the spell. Harry in the graveyard in Goblet of Fire, for example, hides behind a gravestone and an Avada Kedavra curse hits the gravestone and doesn't reach Harry.
Magical barriers, though, don't work... except in the case where Lily Potter's sacrifice protected Harry from dying.
Fawkes the Phoenix burst into flame when he swallowed an Avada Kedavra curse in Order of the Phoenix... Fawkes technically couldn't die forever because he is a Phoenix - but he died and was reborn from his own ashes when Avada Kedavra hit him.

Well, Harry Potter blocked it, obviously. But I'm not sure I've ever heard anything about it not working if it isn't meant...if that's the case and (theoretically speaking...) Snape is actually a good guy, then he wouldn't have been able to kill Dumbledore.
I can't even begin to speculate on the new book. I know the true sequence of events is going to be far crazier than anything I would be able to imagine, so I don't really try! LoL I do, however, believe that there is a link between Godric Gryffindor, Godric's Hollow and that the 7th book will reveal that significance.
Here's an idea though...Harry is a Horcrux.

Like the rest of the unforgivable curses, Avada Kedavra must be meant to take effect (example, when HP tried to use crucio). So you're right.

only one person has survived it, harry, however, i think that in the 5th book Fawkes (Dumbledore's phoenix) jumps in front of Dumbledore and swallows the beam from the spell which makes him restart his life cycle, so it can maybe be blocked, Dumbledore might have even deflected it once....i dont remember, but Harry is the only one who has survived the curse being put on him (thats why hes called the boy who lived). and also in the 5th book, is the answer to ur second question. Harry chases Bellatrix after she kills Sirius, he tries to do the pain curse (Crucio) on her but it doesnt work. she says that for it to work he has to mean it. this may be true for all the unforgivable curses, but i am unsure

avada kedavra was blocked by harry but voldemort had intended to kill him. like you, i did hear that theory. i was reading a really really good harry potter and the deathly hallows fake and in that when harry tries to figure out how to kill a person, mad eye moody tells him that you just need to intend to kill to use that spell.
