I love Kareeoke, its not about the people that are stuck in thier favorite decade....you know what i am talking about the people still with mullets and tapered stone wash jeans... its about having a good old time Usually under the influence.......it brings people together...one time when i was at a bar and keep in mind that i have been in the military for seven years and happen to be a big, muscular dude, well one night me and my marines were sitting ion a bar in VA and all the sudden my name was called well i was pushed up to the stage and britany spears "hit me baby one more time" started playing...i went with the punches and got a standing ovation....my voice wasnt the best and i damn sure dont look like her but i did get a "A" for effort and not backing down....so i would have to say B. Spears HBOMT

Personally I am not a big fan of doing karaoke.
But I do have an amusing anecdote about it.
My stepdad was a military brat (meaning his father was in the military), so they moved around a lot. After being in Japan for quite some time they came back to the US (Hawaii I think, or maybe Texas). They were driving around and had noticed that a number of bars had signs saying "Karaoke Tonight". My stepgrandfather turned to his wife and said, "Boy, that Karaoke really gets around!" thinking that karaoke was the name of a band. It is one of the two greatest family jokes on that side of the tree.
The other (and I know this is getting off topic, but it is worth it, because it is funny) goes like this. My grandparents on that side are ESL (English as a second language). One day my aunt Diana came home from school. She went to her mother and said, "Mommy? There is a school play coming up and I need to go to Mervyn's to get some leggings." At which point my stepgrandmother shouted to her husband (who was in the bathroom at the time), "Honey! Hurry up! We have to go to Merlin's and get Diana some Legos!"

i do! but i have only done it on my comp & ps2, i haven't gone to an actual karakoe place before, lol.
But!!! and this is weird.... (because of the first answer) the first karaoke song I sang was at a church party at YMCA and it was I Will Survive
