No, a period is the disposal of the unsed egg and uterus lining. Neither are unused when pregnant. You can have bleeding though. I had period like bleeding when pregnant. It needs to be reported to your OB ASAP because it could indicate a problem. Women who say they have had their period when pregnancy are simply mislabeling the bleeding.

Yes it is still possible to have one during the early stages of pregnancy. Sometimes women will find out while having a period that they are pregnant. It can happen.

I've known individuals who had their period for 7 out of the 9+/- months preg! Can happen!
