Didn't this question just get asked? My answer hasn't changed. Here it is again
Do you want a tall guy with a dead-eye aim for baskets and terrific free-throw shooter? Then Dirk is your guy.
Do you want a tall guy that plays offense AND defense and can lead your team to multiple championships? Then Tim is your guy.

Come on if you are hoping to hear Dirk is not going to happen, Duncan is a much better player all around not taking anything away from Dirk.

I think that basically explains it.
Duncan is the better player, always has been and always will be, and anyone who wants to try to argue with that can kiss off because the numbers dont lie. Nowitzki hasnt beat Duncan in any aspect of the game except being worse looking.

tim duncan, but he can shoot threes or fade from anywhere can he?..now thats something to think about. tim duncan may have won a lot of championships but he had great help in the first 2 and help in '07 too. dirk got MVP this year because in regualr season he was able to lead his team for the best record.
and by the way spell it right its nowitzki with a 'z'

Even after I am a die hard Mavs fan I have to say that Duncan beats dirk when it comes to leader ship and protecting the paint. Dirk is a better scorer though.

i am a huge dirk fan, but i do admit that tim duncan is better. since dirk and duncan are close friends, tim has been proving his skills as the league's best PF. both are good but duncan is more dominating though he's not as clutch as dirk is.(remember that layup of manu ginobli 2 years ago?)
