I'm excited yet a little nervous about going from out townhome to a single family home. I know it's going to be a lot more work but it's probably going to be greeeeaaatttt having my own fenced in yard and my very own property. Anyone else make this transition, and if so, how did it work out for you?

I went from condo to house many years ago with no regrets. You can hire a gardener for a lot less than your prior home owners dues or do it yourself. You don't have an association watching. Your pets will love having a yard.

There are not any 'first time shopper reward' on a countrywide point (federal government). something which DOES exist would be at a state point or decrease. My state supplies not something different than a sensible value first time shopper state subsidized mortgage (costs are some million/2% under the universal. ) some cities have particular courses for particular residences, yet those courses are often geared in direction of recuperating the usually going on of genuine property specially blighted areas. seem around and notice what's provided the place you reside.

Just did it ! It is great. Remember a few things like a larger house needs more furniture, curtains and interior design. It will be a little more work but if feels great to have your own little chunk of heaven !!

I have actually made the opposite transition, but have knowledge of both. I like having my own home so much better. I too am a black lab lover and I love that my dogs had room to run and play. Sure you have yardwork, but sometimes it is actually enjoyable. :-)
