Has anyone here ever given birth while on Medi-Cal? If so, was the epidural covered? Was there anything not covered?

Are you referring to Medicaid in CA? I had Medicaid in CT and it covered EVERYTHING, including the epidural, so in theory, you should be covered, too. Call your case worker and find out to be sure, they are definitely pricey.

Yes it does. My friend who pays for insurance had to pay a share of the cost though. I felt that was so unfair since she actually worked and paid for her insurance. She pays taxes and has to contribute to the pain relief of others, so if anyone deserves free pain relief it's her. Those of us in the working middle class get screwed on everything.
