I am a Red Sox fan and my uncle is a Yankee fan. we always argue about Manny especially. He said he wouldn't be surprised if he was on steroids because of how strong he is. I just want to know if anyone out there has heard anything about Manny and steroids over the years or if anyone else has opinions on this statement.

I saw Manny play years ago in Charlotte, North Carolina with an Indians farm team and he looked just the same then as he does now. I believe Manny is clean.

I am a Yankee fan and Manny hater. But I have never heard his name conntected with steroids. I think he is the best hitter in baseball. Usually, it's the pitcher who sets up the hitter. Manny can actually set up the pitcher.
That said, I wish Manny would go on the DL or on another one of his annual mental vacations.

If he does look bigger, it's because of his uniform being baggy.
Just because someone is strong it doesn't mean that they are using steroids because of it.

Nope haven't heard anything but you never know. I doubt it because Manny's power stats have been pretty consistent and there haven't been any incredible spikes. Nor, i think, has there been a significant change in body growth.
