i.e. Ford, Chevy, the phrase "yer mom", Toyota, a Christian cross, A Jewish star, the words "Mi Familia", a Care Bear, a cowboy...anything really.

It shows a lack of respect for Bill Waterson and his creations. He never authorized the images of Calvin for any such thing and I've often wondered if his decision to stop making new comics was because his creation had been stolen and used in such an abusive vulgar manner.

I think it shows a lack of class and refinement. Educated people just don't do things like that. And yes, it has gotten old, very old!
