Why should skin color define what clothes anyone wears. I see all races wearing Hollister Abercombie & Fitch, Rock-a-Wear and, G-unit, it does not matter. *u*

There is nothing wrong with wearing Abercrombie or hollister. I'm black and I wear both. Wearing it never means that you wanna be white. People who say that don't have any sense! And if someone says that to you just say what you said in your question. ("You don't know me and if you did you would know that I'm not a white wannabe! I just like the style. And where did you get the idea that wearing these clothes means that I wanna be white?") That might make them leave you alone.

I can understand your question, and I think that black people wearing A&F is not an issue at all. It's not about race when it comes to A&F (no matter what some ppl think), I just think that people as a whole do not want the sterotypical black person like the 'hood gangster' wearing A&F because it takes away from what Abercrombie is surpose to protray. It would be just like some 'poor country redneck' wearing the brand.

I'm Black, and I wear Abercrombie all the time, almost everytime I get allowance I go to Abercrombie! I think its great you wear Abercrombie. And some people have said that I was white washed, but most of the time, people just give me compliments.

A&F and Hollister are simply brands, over-priced and trendy.
Instead of worrying about giving the impression of being a wannabe you should just choose your clothes based on your personal style (and not the price tag or the brand name, either).
Be original.

girl, listen up. I am white, and i don't do or act or behave anything like other people think i should. just be yourself and wear whatever you find comfortable to you. be free in your mind and don't try to excuse your self to the world. you can not satisfy anyone else but your self and you should not try to because you'll fail. there's always something that other people will find wrong with you. keep yourself happy first and you'll see that other people will accept you as you best act !

good luck.

I'm white & I feel you should wear whatever you like as long as you're neat & clean. Just because you perfer a particular brand of clothing doesn't mean you're trying to be white. That's just silly & people who say those things are silly. Good luck. 2D

I have no problem with it. In fact, I feel relieved when I see this-it proves that you don't have to wear a specific style just because you are black or white.

I think it is cute. But only some*** black girls can pull it off. But sinse yoi going to a new school with a whole lot of black kids, don't wear it at first, but still look very fashionable. Make a lott of friends and attract boys. After you have made yourself known then start wearing it, because once you somebody you can do basicly whatever you want.
