My gyno doctor says that it prevents you from gaining water weight

Yasmin like other birth control pills have the potential to cause weight gain which is mostly water. When I tried Yasmin however back in 2006 for 6 months I actually lost weight. I lost nearly 10 lbs while on it.

Weight gain is a possible side effect with ALL birth control pills, but it's still better than an unwanted pregnancy.

actually it's a slight diuretic so it's supposed to help you loose weight a little.

But each pill effects every woman differently.

it all just depends on you and your body some pill make u gain some dont and some u may loose

It's not supposed to, but I did & I work out alot!!! So not sure??? My dr. said I must have been eating more, but I swear I didn't.
